A Florida Beach Vacation is Just What You Need
Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Do you need a break, a little time to yourself? It does not matter if you are looking for a quiet retreat or a place to let your hair down and party. A Florida beach vacation is just what you need.
Scenic Tranquility
For scenic tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle, book a room at a resort in Key Largo, Cocoa Beach, Amelia Island or St. Petersburg, Florida. These beaches offer a laid-back family atmosphere no matter if you are bringing a family, friends, or spending time alone. Amelia Island is a good choice for a Florida beach vacation during the summer months, because it’s not as hot as
locations further south.
Booking hotels in Florida
You don’t necessarily have to book a room in a big fancy hotel to have a good time on the beach! Travel Lodge, La Quinta or even Holiday Inn Express offer reasonable rates. There are also a lot of smaller hotels and motels that are clean and safe. During off-season months (like in November and December) you can crash at a hotel without having a reservation. It’s a good practice to research prices before your trip so you won’t be surprised by the cost. Hotels that are literally next door to each other could have rates that differ by $100 or more.
Getting Essential Beach Supplies
There’s no need to spend a fortune on your Florida beach vacation. Avoid tourist stores and shop for souvenirs at Wal-Mart. Yes. Most discount department stores have the same souvenirs and essentials like flip flips, Florida towels and bathing suits, that you would find at ritzy stores on the beach. Ask your hotel desk clerk for directions to the nearest discount department store in a neighborhood. You can pick up any souvenirs or anything that you have forgotten for your trip at a fraction of the cost.
A Florida beach vacation can help rejuvenate you while helping you cope with a stressful family and career demands. There are hundreds of affordable hotels that you can book in quiet family beaches. Visiting Florida’s beaches is a decision that you won’t regret.

Thanks for this article! My husband and I are planning a trip to the Key Largo and your tips wlll come in quite handy! Looking forward to relaxing and recharging the old creative battery.
Great tips for a Florida vacation. Hotels are inexpensive during off season. We just spent a day in Daytona Beach which was not crowded at all. It was really nice; the ocean there is beautiful. We stayed in a small hotel/motel that had an ocean view and balcony. I found it by checking reviews on the internet. I do the same thing for restaurants.
