Here’s to Mexico for Beach Vacations

Claudine Williams on April 14th, 2008

Mexico is well-known for its beach vacation. Specifically, Cancun in Mexico is a great location for a beach vacation. Cancun has clear blue waters and warm temperatures year-round. The people are also friendly. Just go into town and shop in the markets. People will try to help you find what you need, and if you happen upon a party, join it! Cancun is also well-known for its Mayan ruins, water sports, food and shopping.
Visit Mexico for beach vacations, and stay in an all-inclusive resort. Some of these all-inclusive beach resorts include:
Riu Cancun has three swimming pools with waterfalls and is surrounded by lush landscaping. This all-inclusive hotel is located about 12 miles from the airport and is right on the beach!

The Cancun Palace has three outdoor pools, a swim-up bar, 36-hole mini golf, tennis and basketball.

The Crown Paradise Cancun offers free stays for children under 12. Children under 12 can also eat for free.

The Sun Palace is an adults-only all-inclusive resort. This resort has two outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a Jacuzzi. The resort also has non-motorized water sports available.

Los Cabos, Mexico
Looking for something a little different when you visit Mexico for a beach vacation? Try Los Cabos to get away from the crowds. I love Casa Dorada, a resort at Los Cabos. The beaches at Casa Dorada are safe, but there are some areas in Los Cabos that are not safe for swimming, so make sure that you book at a hotel with where it safe to get into the water. I like Los Cabos because the city and the resorts are in the same area. In Cancun, you may have to drive a little ways to get to the area where real people live and work. In Los Cabos, you may find a Wal-Mart, Dominoes Pizza or a local Mexican drugstore near your hotel. I stayed in El Dorada, and a local mall was within walking distance. Los Cabos isn’t as developed as Cancun.
Los Cabos also has a few all-inclusives like the Crowne Plaza, Dreams, and Melio Cabo. Check the rates for a variety of hotels and resorts. Take a look at the amenities and photos of the resorts. Get a passport, and travel internationally. Visit Mexico for your next beach vacation.
